The Evans Family

We have been blessed with eight children. Our oldest is married with two children & one still under construction. As an only child of an only child I was not "planning" to really have children at all. My husband informed me that when he signed up for this gig that I had agreed to children. I reluctantly gave in to have our first. When she was around 2, God used some other friends to share views & resources that were very foreign to my way of thinking. The result was the beginning of a very cool transformation in my life that only Jesus could have authored. Over twenty years later I take a deep breath when I think of how much I would have missed out on & how much our family would have been void of, had I continued down the road that I had wanted to go on. Amazing how many "I's" are in a short story like this when it really is all about Him. Obedience is most times doing exactly the opposite of what we want to do but when you're obeying the Sovereign Creator of the Universe who has the very numbers of hair on your head numbered it will always be the most rewarding & satisfying path in the long run. 
 
    No matter what your circumstances are today, God knows about every detail of your life. He loves you & wants to bless you in ways you can't even imagine. It may not be about children, it may be something else. Trusting God in all areas of your life is a radical lifestyle, but it is the most rewarding in the end. Don't miss out on whatever God has for you because of fear or concern about all the "what if's". Take that step today & put your whole life in His very capable & willing hands.
